Real easy heating instructions

These instructions are a guide only. Heating times may vary according to the number of items being heated and the power of equipment used.

As a guideline we recommend heating products to 65-70°C and serve.

We do not recommend reheating previously heated product.

thawing icon   THAWING INSTRUCTIONS (Optional)

  1. Arrange slices in a single layer, cover and thaw in fridge at less than 5°C for 24 hours
  2. Check the product is properly thawed prior to use
  3. Once thawed, consume within 5 days

 

   UPRIGHT TOASTER

  1. Place in toaster and toast 1-2 times on MED-LOW setting until lightly golden
  2. Always monitor heating as toasters vary from brand to brand
  3. It is not recommended to exceed 4 min total cooking time
  4. Cool for 30 sec before slicing and serving.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Always monitor cooking as heat intensity and cook time settings can vary significantly between makes of toaster.

  1. Pre-heat sandwich press to 180-200°C
  2. If THAWED, heat for 1 – 2min or until lightly golden brown
  3. If FROZEN, heat for 2min 30sec or until lightly golden brown
  4. Remove from press and cool for 30 sec before cutting and serving.

conventional oven   CONVENTIONAL & COMBI OVENS

  1. Pre-heat conventional oven to 160°C or 150°C for fan forced.
    For Combi ovens use “Bake Mode” (dry heat, no steam)
  2. Place French Toast on a baking tray or wire rack.
  3. If THAWED place in oven and heat for 5 – 7 min.
  4. If FROZEN place in oven and heat for 8 – 10min.
  5. Remove from oven, allow to cool for 30 sec before cutting and serving.

 

   IMPINGER (FROZEN OR THAWED)

  1. Pre-heat impinger to 240°C with a cook time of 3 min
  2. Place French Toast in in-feed and allow to pass through impinger
  3. Remove from out-feed and allow to cool for 30 sec before cutting and serving.

 

   FRYER (FROZEN OR THAWED)

  1. Pre-heat frying oil to 180°C
  2. Place French Toast in fryer basket and drop into oil
  3. Fry for 45 – 60 sec, turning once or twice, ensure toast is submerged
  4. Remove from fryer, drain well.

Allow to cool for 30 sec before cutting and serving.
